We are very keen to welcome new members of the choir. We are looking for singers who:
- love singing!
- have a good musical ear
- are reliable in their attendance at rehearsals (these are held from 7.00-9.00pm on Thursday evenings at Alford Primary School)
- are prepared to spend time between rehearsals learning their part
- are willing to sing a wide variety of music from different styles and periods.
An ability to read music is certainly useful, but not essential. If you are not a confident music reader we can give you access to online music learning sites – several members use these and find them really useful.
Our group is very friendly and as a new member you will be paired with an existing member who will be able to help and advise you.
